PATABAMBA - HUCHUYQOSQO - MACHUPICCHU 4D/3N


DAY 1: CUSCO - SAQSAYHUAMAN - TAMBOMACHAY - PATABAMBA
At 7:00 am we'll pick you up from your selected hotel in our private bus.  We'll pass through the Saksayhuaman and Tambomachay complex (3800 m.), where we'll have a guided tour for 2 hours. We'll continue to Corao for lunch and a short break, and then continue for 50 minutes to Patabamba.  A scenic pass (4200 meters) gives a panoramic view of the Sacred Valley and Pisaq, and the group will stop for photos.  We will arrive in Patabamba, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 2: PATABAMBA - SIWA - PUKAMARKA - LEON PUNKU - HUCHUY QOSQO
After breakfast we'll visit the community and artisan market in Patabamba. We will start our trek via a picturesque path, enjoying a quiet hike around the left side of the mountain. Continuing, we'll arrive at the community of Siwa and then ascend for 40 minutes to the second pass (4200 meters). During the trek, we will have a great, panoramic view of Pisac, Coya, Lamay, Calca and many mountains that surround the area.

After lunch we'll pass through the community of Pukamarca and enter the Leon Punku Canyon, where we will follow the vestiges of an Incan trail that leads to the archeological site of Huchuy Qosqo. Inside of the canyon we will also see the foundation of an Incan bridge.  After a guided tour, we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in Huchuy Qosqo.

DAY 3: HUCHUY QOSQO - CHINCHEROS - MACHU PICCHU
At 7:00 am we'll start to walk though Huchuy Qosqo, taking the Inca trail and ascend to Huallatas Pass (4200 meters) before arriving at Chinchero.   After lunch we'll go by bus to Ollantaytambo, where the group will take a train to Aguas Calientes.  We'll have dinner in a restaurant and spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Early in the morning the group will take the first bus to Machu Picchu, arriving there after 25 minutes. The group will have a guided tour for approximately 2 hours and then free time to enjoy the citadel. Around 1:00 pm, we'll take the bus to Aguas Calientes, where we'll have time for lunch. Afterwards, the train will take you back to Cusco, where our representative will be waiting for you at train station.
