Day 2 -
Lima City tour
This excursion includes a combination of Pre-Hispanic era, colonial
period, and modern Lima, and enables the visitor to get acquainted
with Lima's complete history.
The tour takes you to the historical center, Paseo la Republica,
San Martin Square, Main Square, Government Palace, Basilica Cathedral
, City Hall Palace, and colonial mansions. It also visits the convent
and church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental assembly of
colonial art in America. The tour continues through the residential
areas of San Isidro, Miraflores and modern Lima.

Day 3 -
Lima - Juliaca - Puno
We will bring you to the airport for your flight. Upon arrival at
Juliaca airport, we will pick you up and travel for one hour to
the hotel in Puno.

Day 4 -
Puno - Uros - Amantany
Early in the morning we will board a boat and travel to the floating
reed islands of the Uros, then continue for approximately two hours
by boat to reach the Amantani Island. After a guided tour by this
island , we will have lunch and enjoy an overnight home stay with
a local family.

Day 5 -
Amantany - Puno
Return by boat to Puno, where you will stay the night.

Day 6 -
Puno - Cusco
Travel by bus to Cusco, passing through small towns like Pukara,
La Raya Pass (hot springs, 4,330 m.). Continue to Sicuani and Raqchi,
and spend the afternoon visiting Andahuaylillas before arriving
at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 7 -
Sacred Valley Tour
- Sacred Valley of the Incas tour
Duration: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
The tour includes a guided visit to the native market of Pisaq,
where you can purchase beautiful textiles, jewelry and ceramics
at bargain prices. Our next stops will be Calca and Urubamba, where
we will have lunch. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, where the
group will visit the archeological site, and then visit Chinchero's
market.

ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well,
round trip transportation by bus

Day 8 -
Lares 4D/3N
Cusco - Calca - Lares Hot Springs - Wacawasi
We leave from Cusco early in the morning by bus and travel through
the Sacred Valley, arriving at the Lares Hot Springs and spending
the morning soaking in the medicinal hot springs. After lunch we
have two hours of trekking to our campsite.

Day 9.-
Lares 4D/3N
Wacawasi - Epsaycocha
After continuing up through the valley, we arrive at the community
of Huacawasi. People here produce some of the finest weavings in
Peru. We will observe their great skills and brilliant techniques
as they make ponchos and other garments. Passing the village we
begin climbing up to Condor Pass, the second pass of the trip at
4300m. From here, we catch a stunning view of the renowned Mount
Veronica (5750m.) Descending gently for about one hour, we come
to the beautiful Epsaycocha Lake, our last campsite.

Day 10.-
Lares 4D/3N
Today our trail leads downhill to an overlook facing a wide valley.
Descending into the valley, we eventually arrive at the community
of Huylloc, where we have lunch. From here, it takes two hours to
arrive in Pumamarka and enjoy the Inca terraces, before finally
arriving at Ollantaytambo. Situated in a fertile river valley and
sheltered by mammoth mountains, this ancient Inca village is considered
one of the most important living museums in the world. This is a
perfect place to appreciate the vast archeological remains and a
wide variety of flowers and birds species. The group takes the train
at 2:50 pm from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and spends the
night there in a comfortable hostel.

Day 11.-
Lares 4D/3N
Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu
After an early breakfast, we'll take the bus to Machu Picchu. There
we will register and start on our 3-hour guided visit. After enjoying
the ruins, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you
will have free time to enjoy the town and have a lunch before we
return to Cusco.

Day 12 - Cusco
PM - Cusco City Tour
Duration: From 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The tour includes the most significant sites in and around Cusco
City, such as: the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), which displays
the best Inca stonework in the city, and the Cathedral in Cusco’s
Main Square with its magnificent colonial art. The tour drives along
the Circunvalacion Road up to the famous fortress of Saqsahuaman,
the amphitheatre of Qenqo, the fortress of Pukapukara and the spring
shrine of Tambomachay.

Day 13
- Cusco - Puerto Maldonado
Eco-adventure Program 4D/3N: MONKEY ISLAND
After a reception at the airport, you will ride to the city center
by bus. You will depart from the port and travel down the Madre
de Dios River. During the trip, you will see caimans, turtles, herons
and other species of animals along the riverbanks. When you arrive
in the ECOAMAZONIA LODGE, you will be served an exquisite welcome
drink, after which you will have time to settle in to your bungalows
and eat lunch. In the afternoon, you will travel with our specialized
guide to Monkey Island, which is only 5 minutes from the Lodge.
During your hike through the island, you will observe extraordinary
scenery and flora that shelters a tremendous variety of monkeys
in their natural habitat, such as the Black Spider Monkey, Capuchin
Monkey, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys, and the South American Coati,
as well as a number of bird species. You will complete your visit
to Monkey Island by enjoying the sunset and then returning to the
Lodge for dinner.

Day 14
- Cusco - Puerto Maldonado
Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N: LOST COCHA
After breakfast you begin your guided adventure through the virgin
rainforest on foot to the Lost Cocha. The Lost Cocha is a protected
ecosystem sustaining an immense variety of animals, including giant
otters, caimans, turtles, Brazilian tapirs "sachavacas",
colorful birds, the majestic jaguar, and diverse fish species. This
area is a unique part of the Ecoamazonia Reserve, because its immense
swamps and marshes still remain fully intact today. Later, you will
arrive at our extraordinary Amazon Watch Tower, built at the top
of an immense tree (the Shihuahuaco), from which you can appreciate
the full and magical beauty of the rainforest. You will also go
for a pleasant canoe ride around the lake, after which you will
return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon there is another
canoe trip down the river to visit a local family living in the
rainforest. Finally, you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 15
- Cusco - Puerto Maldonado
Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N: GAMITANA RIVER OR BRIOLO RIVER.
You start the day with breakfast and then begin another trip through
the magical rainforest, navigating down the Madre de Dios River
to the path that leads to the Gamitana and Briolo rivers. These
rivers, born from the innermost virgin forest, form impressive serpentine
channels through which you will travel by canoe while observing
animals only an arm's length away. You will also have the opportunity
to fish and swim in the crystalline waters of the Gamitana River.
Finally you will return to the Lodge for dinner.

Day 16
- Puerto Maldonado - Cusco - Lima
Ecoadventure Program 4D/3N:
We will transport you to the airport in Puerto Maldonado for your
flight to Lima.
